This is an EXTREMELY RARE antique, 1820\'s - 30\'s likely Marlboro Street Glass Works of Keene New Hampshire blue hobnail glass FLASK type poison bottle as pictured with original cork fitted glass stopper. Bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks and only one tiny flea bite on top of lip not visible with stopper in place and only barely visible with it off..

Deep Prussian blue, pint, heavy gather two piece mold, depicting rows of tiny raised beads with horizontal corrugated sides, lip sheared and tooled, elliptical base with pontil scar; probably Keene, NH, Marlboro Street Glass Works, c.1820-30, two of the beads have surface roughness or pin head bruising, otherwise exceptional condition; colors are known in black purple, brilliant sapphire, aqua, green, clear, pale blue, see plate 123, no.8, “Bottles, Flasks & Their Ancestry” by McKearin/ Wilson; a rare color for this flask.
