Up for salethis evening is an EstatefreshRare Antique Brass Top Bell Bottom N.&W. R.R. Brady Style Railroad Lantern. It has a brass top withN.&W. R.R. (Norwich & Worcester I believe)embossed on it, no splits on the brass top, just the one dentaround the first R. Nice strong and sturdy cage, typical light surface rust but no rusted through holes. I did not detect and repairs, it has never been electrified. After looking very hard I did find the cage is marked \"Patent May 26, 1868\" just above the bell bottom. The cage measures close to 14 inches tall with the handle up, 6 1/3 inches across the bell bottom. The glass globe/shade is marked with a B as pictured but does have a crack, it measures 5 1/2 inches tall, 2 3/4 inches across the top and 3 inches across thebottom. The glass font has no cracks, a few hairlines in the tin font holder.
