Charming rare to find antique teddy bear of British origin, believed to by by William J. Terry, dating from 1915-1920,

made of golden mohair plush,

feels to be hard stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,

fully jointed,

has got pronounced clipped muzzle,

original clear and black glass eyes with remains of brown painted backs,

horizontally stitched nose is probably replacement,

inverted Y shape mouth stitching,

his original cloth pads have been recovered with suede? long time ago and show some general wear as well,

original three claws stitching to all limbs with couple claws worn,

hump on the back,

has got large inoperative cardboard growler in his tummy.

Approx. 13\" tall.

Condition - item is in very good vintage condition with little general wear and thinning.
