"Hackett of Cork"

Brass Spike Winch

This rare "Hackett of Cork" brass spike winch or reel "as found", used condition and has not been restored or repaired by us.

The back plate is embossed with "Hackett Cork" and the bridge has the number "7".

The spike has retained its original brass wing nut.

Unfortunately, the handle is missing, but the spool still revolves well. There are no crcks or splits to the cage or spool just the usual scuffs and scratches that you would expect.

Although incomplete this is a rare piece of fishing equipment.
