Very Rare Early Oswald Carved Wooden Genie Rotating /Moving Eye German Clock. Later models were cast. This is carved wood.
Not in working condition, missing the wind knob and one nut on the back.It just needs to be serviced.
This is a very early model with the black face and red eyes.Measures 8 inches high, and 4 1/4 inches wide.

Someone emailed me to ask if the eyes were attached to the clock or theknob. This was my answer.
I have tried to turn the knob that controls the eyes and it is stuck. I also cannot make the eyes move with my hand. The back plate is also very difficult to remove, I do not want to force it. I will leave this up to whoever buys this, so that I will not cause any damage.
