Here on offer is a delightful vintage pin tray setwith a rare 1939 one quarter anna coin displaying the head of George VI, Kingand Emperor.

George VI was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominionsof the British Commonwealth from December 1936 until his death in February1952. He was the last Emperor of India.

The coin at the center of this dish was minted veryclose to India gaining it’s independence.

This wonderful little dish is undecorated andrelies on the coin for its only decoration. There are some surface marks.

The dish isoffered in good vintage condition, it measures about 9.7cm in diameter by 1cmand weighs 86g.
