DESCRIPTION: This is an old cast iron toy taxi cab that was painted in rare brown and white colors. It was made by Hubley in the 1920’s. It features wheels that roll.
MATERIALS: All cast iron
DIMENSIONS: Measures about 8-¼ inches long.
CONDITION: Overall in GOOD, SOLID CONDITION. The cast iron is all good with no chips, cracks, or breaks. In my opinion, the roof has been repainted. It is also possible that the wheels, but not the tires, have been repainted. The rest of the car appears to be ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT. The driver is missing, but might be found online.
This car is rarely found in this color combination! They are usually painted in Yellow Cab colors. It will be a great addition to your Arcade, Freidag, Hubley, or Kenton cast iron taxi cab, or toy car and truck collection.
