This mahogany, brass and leather stereo camera dates from approximately 1880.Made by H & E.J.Dale of London, England.It comes in a very well used Victorian canvas camera case and one plate holder.It was probably used by a professional photographer, judging by the signs of wear and tear.Look at my photographs which I hope will give a clear idea of this.It has a pair of optically matched Ross, of London brass lenses, which are in excellent condition.It is made with very fine dovetail joints, and finished in French polish.Although in well used condition, everything functions. There are a few little cracks in the tailboard base, which I have photographed in close up.Please ask any questions before you offer, as I want you to be happy when you receive the camera outfit.A fine addition to antique and vintage camera collections.
