You may have a hard time trying to find another of this model mousetrap. The mouse climbs in the bottom through the levered gate and then climbs up to the bait which has been placed on a trap door. The mouse then falls through the trap door, as it tilts down, and into the metal cup of water and is drowned.I found a patent was applied for an Ever -set mousetrap in 1915, but does not mention water, but does mention a cup receptacle. It was applied for by Francis M Drum. It looks different than this but I was told this was made in the 1920\'s.
