This is an odd F.S & CO embossed Poison bottle with POISON bold emb on both side panels with 3 rows of hobnails on each panel.....both front and back larger panels are plain

F.S&CO emb on bottom....Hand blown in mold....hand tooled ring lip....amber....rect....2 5/8\"tall...Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A dug bottle with some small light scratches and a tiny bit of light inside haze. I have dug 100s, if not 1000s of poison bottles over the last 47 years, but I dont ever recall seeing this one before. I\'m not sure if the F.S&Co stands for Frederick Stearns & Co of Detroit but that would be my guess. We dug the bottle from an 1890s outhouse privy pit.
