💢 DESCRIPTION 💢

We are pleased to offer a very-rare lot of TWO Vintage IDEAL Dolls: PENNY PLAYPAL and her little sister SUZY!   These dolls were an estate-sale find, and they were displayed in an actual doll-room by their original owner. We are not experts, but according to our research, this original Penny Playpal was only produced for one year, in 1959.  They both have lovely brunette hair, and beautiful full eyelashes. Their eyes are simply STUNNING: deep and sparkling blue!!   They appear to be in great condition (no cracks anywhere) however, there are a few scratches and a couple of minuscule nicks in various places, as shown in the photos. Penny measures a bit under 32 inches, while her little sister is approximately 27 inches tall.   We\'d like to point out that Penny is a life-size, standing doll, but her little sister can only sit (we simply propped her up for the photos:)  The elastic, which connects Suzy\'s head and neck, is also a bit stretched out and makes her head a bit loose.  Penny\'s hair looks wonderful and full when parted correctly, but we specifically brushed it to the side to show the root\'s detail.  Both dolls are marked on their neck and back, as shown in the photos. The undergarments on Suzy also appear to be original, while Penny\'s shoes are a replacement pair, marked \"Nordstrom Made in Italy.\" Lastly, Penny\'s face has a very faint red marking on her forehead that her hair covers, and both gals have maybe 1 or 2 imperfections on the face, as shown. However, this is to be expected for their age, and they are virtually unnoticeable because their faces and eyes are so incredibly beautiful.
