THIS FANTASTIC BOWL IS ONE OF TWO ANASAZI BOWLS LISTED THIS WEEK!

This and the other bowl listed were excavated in the 1930\'s. The restoration work on this type of artifact would have cost a fortune with a conservator. Anasazi pottery dates back to 500-1300 AD. Be sure to view our other listings should you want to offer on both bowls! These hand painted bowls were meticulously sculpted and painted many centuries ago, and would make a wonderful pair!

It comes from the estate of Antiques Dealer and Hollywood Actor Christian Rub, best known for being the voice and visual inspiration of Mister Geppetto in Disney\'s Pinocchio.   • About Joseph Henry Sharp:\"Joseph Henry Sharp(27 September 1859 – 29 August 1953) was an American painter and a founding member of theTaos Society of Artists, of which he is considered the \"Spiritual Father\".Sharp was one of the earliest European-American artists to visitTaos, New Mexico, which he saw in 1893 withJohn Hauserwhen he visited in 1893. He paintedAmerican Indianportraits and cultural life, as well as Western landscapes. PresidentTheodore Rooseveltcommissioned him to paint the portraits of 200 Native American warriors who survived theBattle of the Little Bighorn.
