Item Description:
This sale is for an old used medal. It is marked US Naval Campaign West Indies 1898, William T. Sampson, Commander in Chief, San Juan PR June 22. The edge has the name Benjamin Zimmerman C.P. The medal also has the bar at the top marked USS St. Paul. The medal shows some minor wear but looks to be in very good shape.
The box is also included. The box shows wear and there is some corner damage to the finish on one corner (see pic 6). When it was purchased it was in a small pouch (see pic 7), not sure if it came with the medal but it will be included.
