Blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO. WALDEN, N.Y. on front side and STAINLESS STEEL on back. Blade measures 4 1/16\'\'. Handle measures 5\'\'. Peachseed bone handles have no cracks and a small amount of dirt built up in the grooves. Blade appears to be full andappears to have a factory edge. There are some scratches on the blade as well as some minor pitting spots. This all should polish out. The brass liner lock works fine. The blade snaps great on opening and has fair to good snap on closing. The bolsters do have a few nicks in them as well as some scratches. I have done some research on this knife and found ones that look just like it to be older than 1948. Those had a SS on back of the blade. This one has STAINLESS STEEL on back and I could not find any like it. Also, I found some with FISHERMAN\'S PRIDE etched on the blade and I see no signs of that on this knife.
Selling this knife exactly as found. I have not tried to clean or oil this knife. I purchased a bunch of stuff from a friend who is lighting the load. Watch for some more cool old knives.
