The sirendoes work, but is a bit quiet and there are a fewmarks to the tinplate but only to be expectedof a vintage toy that is 50 years old.The toy appears to have had little use withonly minor marks on the tinplate body of the carand driver - it is in great shape for a vintage toy.The battery box is also clean and free from rust.It also comes with a very good original boxwhich shows wear in places and has a small sectionmissing from one side section. A nice rare vintage Super Patrol-Man tinplate
battery operated police car toy made in Japan by the
Modern Toys (M-T) company in the 1950\'s or early 60’s.
 
Measures 9 inches long, 4 inches wide and 6 tall.
This all tinplate toy is in nice working condition – when
 switched on, it moves with a non-stop action,
the bonnet light flashes and the siren sounds.
The Policeman driver is supposed to turn the siren
 handle, but does not – I think the rubber band must
have perished, but should be a straight forward
repair which I will leave to the buyer. The siren
does work, but is a bit quiet and there are a few
marks to the tinplate but only to be expected
of a vintage toy that is 50 years old.
 
The toy appears to have had little use with
