This toaster is in great vintage condition (see all the pictures below).
It measures 7 1/2\" in length (not counting the electrical) x 4 1/2\" in width x 6 3/4\" in height.
It weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces.
The toaster works (see picture).I had it plugged in 2 times for a least 1 full minute. No smoke or sparks.
There are no chips or repairs to porcelain. I did fine one small hairline on the bottom end. It seems tight and hasbeen there for some time. Hard to notice unless close inspection. The last pic shows it.The cord has a couple of issues. The toaster end has a chip of the plastic missing. The cord has a section has some tape.Having said all this it seemed to work fine when I had it in operation. No smoke, heat or sparks.Although the toaster works fine it is offered here as a collectible and as a display.
It would not be proper for it to be used as an appliance.
Note that this iconic toaster was featured on the PBS Antique Roadshow on July 17 1999 in Des Moines Iowa and it was appraised at between $1000 and $2000.
It is highly sought after because it is collected by both toaster collectors and also blue willow porcelain collectors.
