First off, THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY sales! Yes! you have found and about to offer on an original, unissued, Swedish Mauser handguard for a M94 Carbine (and variations of M1894) chambered in 6.5x55. Its MINT and UN-ISSUED, as such it is not serialized. Its hard to make out on some, but there is a Swedish crown and a letter 'M' (usually) pressed underneath. Pictures speak for themselves. When was the last time you have seen one for sale for this particular rifle, let alone original replacement from Sweden?
length: 258.5mm which is about 10 3/16 " - standard M94 handguard. I was asked, several times now, if this will fit a Spanish Carbine 1895 - I do not own one of these fine 7mm Mauser carbines/rifles, thus I can NOT answer your question. Do Swedish M1894 and a Spanish 1895 look similar - yes; both are Mauser design- Yes; can I for sure say that parts (particularly an upper hand guard) are interchangeable - NO. Perhaps someone whom owns both models can chime in and clarify/answer this.

I was reading on this listing that you were unsure as to if this fits a Spanish. Well I do own a Spanish cav and I can tell you that my top wood is identical to this Swedish variant. It is exactly the same length. Has the same rear sight hole, the same barrel groove on the underside. In fact I cannot see any difference between the two at all period.....- are several available, I have set these side by side to see if there is any difference in color or condition and these are all the same, thus there is no such thing as '...can you please pick a better or darker one...'
