This is a 1965 AC30 Top Boost which features many original parts and retains all of that iconic vox tone. Here is the description of this amp, it has been described to the best of our ability. Various experts have looked at and commented on this amplifier, it is being sold as is.

- The amp appears to have been recovered. The basketweave pattern is also bolder on the newer production tolex.
- The serial number plate is not stamped, indicating it is likely a Northcoast Music repro.
- The grill cloth is 1980\'s to early \'90s era Rose Morris replacement cloth. It differs vastly from the original, and from the current Korg cloth. Rose Morris Cloth was easily obtainable pre-packaged through that era, suggesting that this amp was redone perhaps in the \'90s, when cosmetic parts became widely available for the first time since the 1960s.
- The amp should have one-pin corners. Two-pin corners were used in the later 1960s. Reproduction one-pin corners were not available at the time this amp was likely recovered, only recently becoming available. The original corners broke very easily.
- The handles and brackets have been replaced.
- Several back panel screws have been replaced
- The knobs looks to be newer Rose Morris.
- The logo looks like a newer one.
- The insides look very original, except for a few resistors and capacitors. This is normal. The original electrolytic caps should be replaced if the amp is used as an amp.

- Amp has Older Woden Power Transformer / possibly original

- Most of the replaced parts were very common as these parts came available in the 1990\'s and many vintage AC30\'s were restored with these parts

This is what nearby amp tech Will Puckett observed when we both looked through the insides:

Chassis:

1) 3 resistors are not original.

2) The choke transformer is not original.

3)The Woden transformer on the left is stamped \"K.V.\" which would date it to 1964 and it appears original. The transformer on the right is stamped \"N.T.\" which would date it to 1962, originality is questionable because of the date and the new appearance of the screws mounting it to the chassis.

4) Will also stated that the main capacitors were original, and need to be replaced
