Here is a RARE - VINTAGE \"ROD & REEL COMBINATION\".The ROD is a GARCIA 3 STAR CONOLON #-2582-D, made in the USA. It\'s a TWO PIECE ROD, SEVEN FOOT, LIGHT ACTION - FAST TAPER. The FIVE EYELET GUIDES, HOOK HOLDER & TIP are in very good plus condition and the WRAPS are nice. On the upper shaft about 11 1/2 inches up from the male ferrell there is a break in the shaft as you can see in the last photo. When I offer on the combo at an estate sale, it had black electrician tape over it. You could still use the rod, but I would suggest getting it repaired because of the value.The REEL is a GARCIA MITCHELL #-510, Serial Number 3260561, see pictures. The REEL WAS MADE IN FRANCE for THIS ROD. A SET, so to speak. Reel looks very good, nice anti-reverse, not abused at all.
