Rare Vintage Tinplate Friction Friendship-7 Space Capsule,
Horikowa (S.H.). Japan.
A rare vintage friction drive tinplate Friendship-7
Space Capsule Toy, made in Japan by the
Horikowa (S.H.) Company, in the 1960’s.
This toy has 2 window panels with a tinplate
spaceman sat inside at the controls.
This vintage toy is 6.5 inches long and almost 4 inches
tall and is all tinplate except for the plastic windows
and a red plastic nosecone.
The tinplate is in excellent condition with minor
playwear and the friction drive works well, also
producing a siren type engine sound.
Marked on the side of the toy with the Trade Mark
Horikowa “S.R.” diamond symbol and “Made in Japan”
A classic friction Japanese space toy that is hard to find
and a great addition to a space toy collection.

ShippingI will send items worldwide but please note that all items sent overseas by Royal Mail (Small Packet) are only insured to a value of £37. Items that sell for more than £40 will now be sent by Royal Mail International Signed For or Airsure - this will cost extra (usually between £4.50 and £6.50 on top of the airmail price). Also note that due to items going missing or lost when posting to Italy, I will only post items to this location if the buyer agrees to pay the cost of the International Signed For postal service.
