Underneath, there is a list of foods that Americans should eat less of \"to save for the Army and our Allies.\" This poster is no. 6 in a series of food conservation posters designed by the U.S. Food Administration to help combat waste. This offers a pointedmessage encouraging citizens to be mindful with their food choices (a message that is resonant in today\'s administration) and to conserve resources.
