This is a well-cared for cutter with sharp blades and the necessary cutter fingers for each size blade. The cutter fingers keep the wool from wrapping around the wheel. This cutter works well, but has minor scratches from use. It had a name engraved on the platform. I am cleaning out my teaching studio.
This cutter needs to be clamped onto a surface to be used. A wooden bar stool works well to clamp onto. Changing blades involves loosening the top red screw handle, turning the cutter over and undoing the screw.. The handle then slides out and the blades are loose to be changed. This cutter has always been stored inside and hence has no rusted parts to hamper its ability to cut strips.The size of the four cutter heads are #3, #4, #5 and #8 and I have shown the width of the strips in one photo.
