Rodgers Organ Model 250dlm
Price: US $330.00

Up for saleis aRodgers Organ model 250DLm.I\'m selling the organ due illness.

Condition:

The consoles finish is in very nice condition. The bench topshows usual ware from use. The 5 speaker cabinets are faced with white cloth. The bass and Leslie cabinet are covered infabric that went with my parent’s living room. Theorgan was built in the early 70’s for the North Chapel at the San Diego NavalTraining Center, and was one of Rodgers first hybrids. I’m the second owner. I\'ve owned Organzilla for 10 years. That\'swhat we lovingly named her because she was so big.

The Organ has not been played for 4 years, however, Ihave turned it on and played some notes on occasion. It makes me too sad to try and play.

Issues:

  • BassF# on the pedal needs adjusting –when played it bounces

  • The console originally controlled 2 principaland 2 flute ranks plus some partial very high mixture pipe work, approximating6 or 7 ranks. Solid state tone generation is available to cover stops on Pedal,Swell and Great. The pipe work is nolonger with the organ, the Positive is the pipe division on this console. At this time the pipe division is notfunctioning.

  • The pedal division speaker/amp makes noise when the organ is turned on butgoes right away

  • A couple of the stops on the swell don’t work –they were borrowed from the pipe division

Sorry for the confusing description. Bottom line. The organ would make a nicepracticedinstrument orcandidate fora Hauptwerk project, or pipe organ console.

The winner of the sale will be responsible for theremoval and transportation of the instrument. There is a double door to get the console out . 2 speakers are mounted on plant shelfs 8’ off the floor. (see last pic). Due to my disability I\'m unable to assist in the removal of the instrument.
