I believe that this gray kitten with the painted rubber face is a \"Rushton Star Creation, \" though I cannot guarantee that as the kitten wears no label. Through research I discovered that the very popular Rushton\'s Star Creation toy line were hand painted, rubber faced animals and dolls that were made from the 1950\'s - 1960\'s. They were manufactured in Atlanta, GA, by The Rushton Co. This kitten measures approximately 7\" in length and 9\" in height. Her face is made of rubber and is painted in a most adorable manner. I am assuming that she was originally gray in color, as she now is. Kitten still wears her paper flowers and pink bows! I believe that she may be UN-played with as she comes with her original pink box which is in very poor condition. Her box sustains wear, crushing, soil, fading, and missing pieces. Gray Kitten\'s fur has discolored with age and poor storage. Possibly the discoloration was caused from oxidation and transfer from being kept within her cardboard box or the discoloration may simply be dirt. I do not know for sure. Her fur may require cleaning! Her face has become greasy and grimy from storage too. Please note the oily yellow spotting. Her facial features retain much of their original paint. She smells like \"kitty fur.\" She also stands a bit unevenly.
