Composition / Condition: The handle is sterling silver, the chain is silverplate, and the glass ring around the lens is stainless. All of this collection are in original gift / presentation cases and are essentiallyNew-In-Boxwith the magnifier in a plastic sleeve, however I do not know the age of the items. Due to the age of the items, there are some minor cosmetic flaws: the presentation cases have a plated metal accent around the outside, and have some minor cosmetic corrosion flaws. The magnifiers are in beautiful shape, with very minor tarnish and/or galvanic corrosion where the sterling handle meets the stainless glass ring. None of the defects affects the usability or beauty of the magnifiers. However, these are definitely sold as is. Ask if you have any questions prior to purchasing.
