A scarce early embossed tin lithographed cigar advertising sign. This one is advertising Whelan\'s Up-To-Date 5 Cent Cigars. The sign measures 13-3/4\" x 6-1/2\" and is marked as made by: Standard Adv Co. of Coshocton Ohio. Great early sign shows some wear as seen in the photos but displays well. Recent find in upstate NY I have not attempted to clean the sign in any way. Has years of dust attached and shows some scattered paint flake spots. This was found along with a second different Whelan\'s Cigar sign in a local estate. The other sign will be listed in a separate sale.
