This toy is not currently working. It is our belief that it remains in such MAGNIFICENT condition because the operating mechanism stopped working fairly close to when the piece was new. It was put back in its box, ( and WHAT A BOX ! ),and placed carefully back into the attic until it was uncovered by us. We do not know what is wrong with the mechanism yet believe that someone versed in these toys can make it operable with little effort. We have decided to leave it alone and NOT attempt to fix it as we may cause further damage. It truly may be a VERY simple adjustment...we just do not know. The chances of finding thisRARE toy in this \" Nearly New \"condition are VERY RARE indeed ! Think of it.....a malfunction when it was young banished it to the attic......never to be played with.....protecting it from normal wear and tear ! CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION !!
