For sale is a 1970 Schwinn Orange Krate, serial number JF 3XXXXX. This is agood example of abeautifuloriginal Stingray. It has all the original parts and paint with the exception of the seat and the Stik shift decals. The seat is aprofessionallyrestored Krate seat, the shifter decalsare from Pete Aronson of Hyper-formance Rays. The Paint is in good condition and shines bright. Also,it has theoriginal factory screen on the chain guard. It does have some touch up that was likely done by the original owner of the bike. The reason is, it\'s so hard to tell it has been touched up and that\'s the way I got the bike 10 years ago. When I first bought this bikeI completely disassembled it, repacked the bearings, installed new cables, tubes, and detailed it. All the date codes matched on the partsso I don\'t believe this Stingrayhad ever been apart. It also has the original bicycle tag from Kissler\'s Schwinn,which used to be in Beaverton, Oregon. This Kraterides great, needs nothing, and really turns heads. This bike is not mint but, it is a great original that can be ridden and enjoyed.
