They feature a lovely handpainted purple violet decoration with a brushed gold rim. They were made in the early 1880s. This set is in excellent condition considering its age. There is less than average gold wear to the scalloped rims and the hand painted floral decorationsare clear and vibrant. There are no hairline cracks, crazing or chips NOT EVEN ON THEIR RIMMED BASE.
