This is a set of clock and barometer made by Schatz.  The dials are marked Schatz and the backs are marked, \"AUG. SCHATZ & SO. HNE GERMANY\".  The face of each measures 4 1/2\".  This set is sold \"as found\", \"as is\".  The barometer seems to work and everything looks good.  The clock winds for the time and runs good but the movement needs to be cleaned as the oil has gelled over the years.  It needs a replacement nut for the hands as I lost it when I removed the movement for pictures. The winding for ships bells does not work and I suspect the spring is broken.  I removed the back for pictures and it is a sealed unit.  The brass on both retain the original patina and I am sure they can be polished to high sheen if so desired.  This set is being sold for what you wish to do with it: repair, use as is, or for parts\".  It would take little for a knowledgable person to restore the set to beautiful condition.  Look at the pictures as they are part of the description.  Ask any questions before offerding.
