The comics I am selling are from my late friend\'s comic book collection. I do not know the history behind all of them.
This sale is for a vintage, original, completely intact, beautiful 1955 DC Batman Detective Comics comic book # 225 which features the 1st appearance of the Martian Manhunter in fair, partially restored condition.
When I first saw it, I thought it was in excellent condition but when I took it out of it\'s protective case and mylar I could see that someone has re-touched portions of the front cover with something. You can see it in the bottom right hand corner, there is a glossy area in that corner. You can see this same glossy look up and down the spine of the comic. Check out all the pictures.
