SOUTHERN PACIFIC 1897 A&W TALL GLOBE RAILROAD LANTERN MATCHING CAST GLOBE. Tall globe railroad lantern manufactured by Adams & Westlake. This is an \"Adams\" 1897 last patent date frame, marked in big letters on the lid, \"S.P.\" for the Southern Pacific. The frame is in good condition with okay metal, but some pitting on the lid. The frame has the correct bail, globe retainer, and an Adlake fuel font, burner inscribed for Adlake. Comes with a nice, clear cast globe embossed, \"SPCo\" with Corning on the reverse. Few small chips that are all no shows in the frame, but there are no cracks. One pinhole along the bottom of the font. Could be cleaned up a little to enjoy for the Southern Pacific collector or lantern enthusiast!
