This is a magnificent example of Stangl pottery from the 1940\'s. It is a Terra Rose Horse Head vase (3611) that stands approximately 13\" high and is also about 13\" across on the widest dimension and about 5-1/2\" wide across the eyes. It does have a small chip and crack behind the right ear. The chip, itself, is small as can be seen in the close-up photo and is about 1/4\" deep. Perfect examples of this beautiful piece have commanded prices into the low $600 range but I have placed a low reserve recognizing the minor flaw. It truly is a special creation.
