Up for sale is a stunning 1953 Nancy Ann Story book Muffie doll. Muffie is 8\" tall, strung doll, she is well strung and can hold a pose on her own. She has clear blue sleep eyes with painted lashes, blushed cheeks and red lips. Her sleep eyes stay in the open position, which is common in these dolls. Her beautiful factory original blonde side part wig still maintains it\'s original set. She is marked \"Storybook Dolls California\" on her back.
She is dressed in her original 1953 Dress Up Styles For Margie 607-1 \'Margie Glamorous\' dress. Crisp red and white checked tissue gingham dress with large square collar with scalloped edge, trimmed in red embroidery, attached under slip with lace trim, closes in the back with a small round brass snap, red hair bow attached to a brass barrette, white organdy panties with lace trim, rayon socks and white vinyl flat bottom shoes.
