We are offering an adorable strung Ginny from the 1952 Kindergarten Series of Vogue dolls offered during that year in her gorgeous crisp organdynavy blue outfit. She is #23 KAY who comes wearing her original tagged complete Kay outfit with original hair bow, foil A Vogue Doll wrist tag & purse. She wears her dark blue oil cloth center snap shoes with white rayon socks which complete her look. She will come to you with her \"A Vogue Doll\" wrist tag and a complimentary doll stand so you can display and enjoy her & show her off to family and friends. A must have if you love pretty crisp and original dolls and one you don\'t see offered in the desirable blue. Her condition, in our opinion is excellent plus/near mint although some may rate higher so please study our photos and see if you don\'t agree, she is one very pretty high color early Ginny that would please most collectors and be a \"show stopper\" at any pageant.

Ginny is a lush Tosca haired doll named Kay who comes to you wearing her complete and original mint crisp tagged outfit. She has gorgeous dark blue eyes that do need assistance to open and close which is common and acceptable to the majority of collectors. She is hard plastic, approximately 8\" and marked on her back Vogue Doll; jointed at neck, arms, and legs (strung). She has no breaks, no cracks and all fingers intact. Her coloring is factory and stunning with her outfit as the compliment; a beautiful more navy blue with original matching hair bow than some of our photos may show. We are not expert photographers and flash and lighting conditions play a role in the various lighter or darker colors. We have noted under a few photos the ones that most closely resemble the color of her outfit and She has no scratches or dots of missing cheek color. Any lines in photos on her face are stray hairs and when viewing in person you don\'t see them but they are picked up by the camera. Ginny Kay\'s hair is lush and full of waves and curls. Her hair has not been combed or restyled and we\'ll leave that up to the new owner; we think it is perfect the way it is. Unfortunately the hair bow with staple has pulled loose from Kay\'s head but the original factory Vogue true staple remains in the bow so we left it in the bow so you can see it was the authentic original stapled bow with Vogue factory staple and not a put-together doll. We did put two small pins in the bow to hold it back in place and we\'ll leave any reattachment up to the new owner. We have been collecting for close to 40 years and have had enough of these beautiful original stapled bow dolls to know the original ones and have had enough that have pulled out. Accidentally by us checking to see if they are truly factory stapled into the head or a clever reattachment, or some have just pulled or loosened from age and previous owners handling. Sometimes Vogue would not get them in securely since they were stapled into the plastic and might not catch well or all the way. We were lucky enough here and on a few other occasions over the years for the doll to still have her original bow and also the staple still stuck in the bow. Vogue used a specific type of staple and not those shiny thinner staples of today. It never bothered us that the bow had come loose since it has happened before because it was still there and original to her; the vintage true Vogue bow from 1952 Kay which could have easily gotten lost over the years. She was just stored in a common small box so that saved her bow and other things from getting lost. There is no fading, no discolorations and no tears or repairs to Kay\'s outfit. It has not been washed, ironed or had anything done to it; as mentioned, very crisp and a gorgeous shade of blue. Her center snap dark blue oil cloth smoothed soled shoes are in excellent condition with no repairs showing some mild expected wear, slight to the snap area, but holding fine. Ginny Kay carries her original white purse that matches the beautiful white trim on her dress which is still a true white, not creamed, not discolored. Photos were taken with and without flash and in different light settings so there may be a difference in color; slightly lighter or darker as mentioned above.

She has been restrung so now she poses fairly well and you will receive a complimentary doll stand to set her out and enjoy her right away in your collection.
