For your all-year-long Hallowe\'en loving pleasure, we are proud to present a FRIGHTfullyfabulous, authentic, and all-original medium-sized Jack o\' Lantern that was madein Germany in the 1920s. This lovely lady Jack even has hand-painted red lips!Please meet Jacinda. Ziz will be listing three German Jack o\' Lanterns and thisis the largest one of the three. She measures 5 ¼” tall (7” to the top of herwire bale handle) x 5 ½” deep x 5 ½” wide. Jacinda was made from light composition wash over formed-and-stapled cardboard andshe was painted in outstanding Hallowe\'en colors of bright orange with greenaccents to simulate the striations of a real pumpkin. She has luscious ruby-redlips. She retains her original paper insert creating her charming facialfeatures. The insert is in colors of royal blue, creamy beige, old red andblack. For Jacinda’s debut, we illuminated her by using battery-operated candlesnow found at most craft stores. Jacinda retains her original cardboard base that is stamped Germany. She alsoretains her original wire bale handle as well. Interesting to note is that her original price of a whopping 10 cents iswritten on her underside. She was probably originally sold at one of thosegreat old five-and-ten cent stores that many of us miss to this day. This lantern is one of the finest that Ziz has ever seen and Jacinda’s exactcondition is as follows: her original paint is in exquisite condition withoutany touch-ups whatsoever. There are NO separations to the cardboard, whichoften happens to these great old lanterns. Her tin candle holder is missing.Apparently Jacinda helped to create an eerie glow on at least one All Hallows\'Eve since there is a tiny bit of wax staining to her interior bottom. Thisalso shows slightly on the underside of the cardboard base. Her paper insert iscomplete and without tears or holes but there are a few light watermarks tothe mouth and one eye. This is only mentioned for accuracy – they certainly donot detract from her awesome beauty. It amazes Ziz that this BOOtiful piece of Hallowe\'en history is in thismagnificent condition considering the 90-something Hallowe\'ens that thisGHOULISH gal has seen! It is unusual to find the original paint in such brightand crisp condition.
