During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the early 19th century.

Dates about c1820s.

Of a Black forest origin.

Intricate relief lion head carving centrally with its wonderful portrayal and detailing.

Other intricate relief gothic carvings to either side including scrolling.

Areas of gilt colouring.

It hasan overall sizeof about 19.75 x 6inches.

Max depth of about 1.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent andis not subject to any major blemishes except:

minor areas of historic woodworm.
