Stunning mid 19thc large and very gothic oak carved church wall hanging. Dating c.1850.

A truly beautiful and intricately carved gothic oak church wall hanging. Stunning gothic detail with the top of the hanging having tall carved pinnacles. Fine gothic windows to the front of this hanging and to the centre of the hanging is a long, narrow gothic window. The detailing on this gothic hanging is fine and intricate. Really wonderful piece.

The overall height of this hanging is some 33\". The maximum width is some 11.25\". The maximum depth is some 6.5\".

CONDITION: is excellent and age commensurate overall. The top finial of one of the pinnacles has broken off. I do have this piece, however, and will send so that it can be reattached when the hanging reaches its destination.

A carved leaf is missing to one side of the hanging and this can be seen in one of the images - the carved section itself is intact but there is just the leaf detail on it that is lost.

There is a top finial to one of the pinnacles to left side of hanging. This piece is not present. It looks as if there has been a repair to one of the front pinnacles but nothing of import. All as per images.
