Description A wonderful large veryrareantique Victoriansolid sterling silver\"novelty\" pierced pot pourri box in the form of a drop-leaf table, by the silversmith Samuel Boyce Landeck and withEnglish silver hallmarks forLondon 1892. Superb qualitygenuine125 year oldsterling silverbox, in excellent clean condition, a really stunning example, very detailed, has a hinged silver lid with decorative pierced top for housing pot pourri, and has 2 hinged drop side-leaves with matching pierced detail. Weighs a heavy 88 grams and thereno added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms. A real beauty.
MeasurementsGreat size, measures approx 2.55 inches (63mm) x 1.5 inches (36mm) and is 2.2 inches (55mm) in height. With the leaves extended it measures approx 4 inches (100mm) in length.
