Special edition manufactured in France exclusively for BassPro by Mitchell Sports.Serial number R251, which dates the manufacture to 1986/87.See pictures of 1987 BassPro catalog featuring the 400G and 408G reels. The catalog pictures show a 300DL and a 408 model, with the gold bail wire and handle from a 408G. These pictures were probably taken for the catalog, before this model was produced.Reel works perfectly with a tight and snappy bail spring. Handle works freely in both directions.
