Listed this week is session two of this very fine and important estate collection. This is surely one of our Finest and Largest Asian art estate sales to date. The items listed are from the estate of Henrietta Anthony of Quebec. Ms. Anthony owned one of the most prominent antique galleries in Montreal that she ran from the age of 18 to 80, for 62 years. Anthony also owned a large and very successful vineyard in the hills of southern Quebec. Ms. Anthony had a passion for Chinese art and was well known in the area for being a top dealer and knowledgeable appraiser. The items listed are from her private collection of choice and unique examples she kept over the years. I am told most of the items were purchased 30-40 years ago mainly in London, Hong Kong, and New York. I believe this is a rare opportunity to acquire some very fine and authentic fresh to market choice examples. Up for sale is a Very Fine Chinese Pure White Jade Double Dragon Bangle Bracelet. This bangle bracelet is a superb example. The bracelet has good and legitimate age to it and I believe it would date from the 18th to 19th century period. I have had this bracelet inspected by our local gemologist that we have worked with for upwards of ten years. They have confirmed this bracelet is carved of natural untreated white jade. We fully guaranteed the bracelet to be an antique example carved of natural white jade, so please offer with full confidence. The bracelet is carved of a superb hu of white jade that has no color variations or inclusions throughout the stone.

The bracelet has a great Qing dynasty design with double dragons grasping central pearl. The bracelet is carved with very fine detailing throughout much nicer than I can take pictures of. The bracelet could use a light cleaning but is otherwise in very fine original condition with no damage. The bracelet measures in total 3 inches wide, by 2 3/4 inches tall, and is 5/16 of an inch thick. The bracelet has a total weight of 35.8 grams. Usually superb examples such as this are reserved for high-end sale sales. I believe this bracelet is something you would rarely have the opportunity to purchase outside a major sale house, mostly being offered here without reserve. An opportunity you should take advantage of and not miss! This bracelet is a truly fine investment grade example.
