Superb 19thc gothic oak carved extendible book slide/shelf. Dating c.1870.

Excellent attention to detail on this really beautiful gothic oak carved book slide. The ends are superbly carved with three gothic trefoil pierced windows and with an elaborately carved large gothic cross to the top.

The shelf measures some 10.75\" height at the carved ends x some 5.25\" depth. Closed length is 17.25\" and fully extended some 29\".

This book slide is in excellent age commensurate condition. Lovely. All as per images.
