Description Abeautiful rare genuine English antique solid sterling silver \"novelty\"pepper pot/pepperettein the form of a chick, by the silversmith and novelty silver-maker William Edward Hurcomband with full English silver hallmarks for London 1904.Superb quality original 111 year old sterling silverexample, muchscarcer than a pin cushion, definitely not a modern re-production and inexcellent clean condition.Very nicely detailed, with its original pull-off pierced silver lidand with theoriginal gilded finish around the neck. Has a good weight (26 grams), andthere are no added personal engravedmonograms or crests.
