Have you been looking for that survivor quality 1939 Mills Throne Of Music Jukebox? This is a nice original survivor that is from a local estate.

We have had a large number of Wurlitzer 1015s and other golden age machines over the years, but few Mills Empress and Throne Of Music models for some reason. This one is a nice original machine. This model was produced in 1939. It plays 78s. These are one of the more attractive jukeboxes lit due to the multiple colors.

Condition Report

The cabinet is nice and solid but does have some veneer loss on the back in spots and loose veneer on the back side. Aside from a few marks here and there and needing a good cleaning and clear coat, it is a decent solid cabinet. The plastics are nice and are crack free. The plating and paint is still nice and will polish up well. Mechanically, it does not play and will need some lubrication and adjustments. It appears the drive motor hums so we removed the fuse. The amp should also be rebuilt due to age.

Being 50 years old, these machines can be temperamental and are not meant for continuous use all day long. These vintage machines are meant for occasional use and not for continuous or bar usage. Because of it’s age and the above, it is sold strictly as-is-as shown.

The patina is superb! The photos do a great job documenting the condition. This example would make a great addition to anyone’s rec room, bar room, collection, media room, or arcade. Best of all, there is . We will let the market determine the value on this RARE piece. Best of luck in the sale.

We will hold it for 30 days if you plan to pick it up (it needs to be picked up in 30 days - NO exceptions on this). It will need to be prepaid within 10 days of sale end.
