This sale is for a hard to find original 1959 Ideal Penny PlayPal doll. She is marked IDEAL DOLL 32-EL on the back of her head and her back is marked Ideal in an oval with 32 below that. She can be found on page #70 of The Patti PlayPal Family by Carla Marie Cross. Penny measures 32" in length. She has brown multistroke eyebrows, blue green sleep eyes with full hair lashes, pink lips, lower painted lashes and nice cheek blush. Her blonde rooted hair is curly and full no missing plugs. Her body is in nice condition with only one very tiny approximately 1/16th of an inch split buy left hip and one small dent on one big toe these are barely noticeable- see pictures. She is wearing her original red and white checked dress- missing lace on left collar and elastic is stretched in sleeves- otherwise the dress is in nice clean condition and has attatched slip and closes with the swirl Ideal buttons. She is also wearing her original shoes very good condition and replaced socks. Ideal only made these dolls for one year so they don't come up often.
