Good condition early (World Wars era) Swiss army shovel.Similar in pattern to the WWI German type. Metal has original paint showingsome wear. Clearly maker marked “AUG. SCHORND. STEINER SCHWYZ” with a Swisscross. Wooden handle shows some normal wear, no damage. Comes with a leathercarrier that may be a replacement. Leather is soft and supple with a littlenormal wear, stitching and rivets are nice and tight. Carrier is overall verygood to excellent condition and is complete. A nice Swiss army shovel for yourcollection or use by a reenactor.
