The wood grips are in nice overall condition and still plainly display the original proof marks! The wood has a great dark patina with no cracks or chips. The locking mechanism functions as it should. The cross guard and pommel are tight. The blade is markedwith theBritish Crown Proof marks 1907 andWilkinson and there are a number of other British Proof Marks. The markings are all well defined. The bladehas a blued finish showing signs of rust, scratches and sharpening. The leather scabbardis in very nice condition showing the original British Crown Proof marks. This scabbard is the original No.I MKII scabbard with teardrop frog lug.
