Made in Germany I had always wanted a Taifun Blizzard, not because they were an especially powerful engine, they are in fact quite modest with similar output to that of an ED Racer. But they look stunning to my eye. One of those special engines where the designer got it spot on. The only other engine that has that perfect look are the Cox TD engines.This engine has been restored and looks great. It has a new crankshaft, piston and contra piston. The crankcase repainted and new bearings fitted.The engine isn\'t 100% perfect. The mounting holes have been opened up, but it has at least been done neatly.It took a long while for me to find one and I will be sad to see this engine go. It was right in the front of my display case.It\'s time for this engine to go to someone else and hopefully spread the joy.A lovely looking engine.
