This sale features a DENSMORE typewriter known as a Densmore 1b. It is also referred to as the 189X No.2 (which the 1b became later). 189X refers to the year 1890-something as the production year. The Denmores were produced in the 1890\'s but a specific year is unknown. Its year of production was most likely early in the period of 1891 to 1894 based on its relatively low serial number of 1514. It is missing 1 finger tab (see photo) and another (the N tab) is partly broken. Other than that it is in good condition, appropriate for its age. Please see photos for additional detail. Thank you.
