Tiernay gas turbine engine and generator model TT10-1. This turbine generator was originally mounted on a trailer and used by the military as ground power unit for aircrafts. This unit has 37 total hours on it. The sale includes nearly everything needed to have a working turbine generator and includes the Turbine Engine, Generator, control panel, engine computer, fuel pump, pressure regulator, and service manual. I purchased this unit from a company that buys the entire trailers from government sales and after testing them, disassembles the components and ships them. It's been in my climate controlled garage since then. My plan was to use it as a generator to charge an electric car project I've been working on, making it a jet-electric hybrid. I am familiar with these generators from my time in the service and like much of the military's equipment they are simple with redundant internal systems and designed for easy service which is why I picked it. The voltage output is controllable from around 15-35 volts at 10kw. The throttle is controlled by the computer and is non adjustable, however there are some guys out there using aftermarket controllers that allow throttle adjustment, and you can find more info on them by searching YouTube or google. There are a lot of websites out there that give specs on these unit but if memory serves the turbine itself spins near 48k rpm and there is a gear reduction unit that I believe is 6/1 and the generator spins near 12k rpm. What is required to have this unit running is a fuel source (I was going to use small aftermarket auto racing fuel tank), plumbing of the fuel lines, and hooking up the electrical. Most of the wiring is plug and play between the control panel and the computer but the wiring harness was cut during removal of the trailer unit, so it will require some re-coupling.  The wires are individually labeled and the complete technical manual including wiring schematic is included. If you are interested in building a project with a turbine engines then this is a good place to start, it's a small self contained unit that doesn't require any external controls or any custom adapters to hook up to a transmission or generator.
